Antonis and Meropi Confetti Shower at Crown River room

It’s amazing how many High School sweethearts we are photographing at the moment. Antonis and Meropi are just that, and it was evident throughout the day that these guys were just meant for each other.

The old cliché “.. You Complete me..” could not be truer with these lovebirds. They are so in tune with each others personality. It only takes a few moments, when you look at the footage captured on the day, that the beautifully crazy, artistic, free spirited Meropi has found her leveller in Antonis.

Antonis, not to be outshined, clearly has a spirited sense of humour, as Meropi took to the microphone during the night and gave back some of his own medicine, by singing to him. As it appears that Antonis singing has been a contentious issue over the years :-)

In all seriousness, its not often an award winning designer and dress couture, get to create her own creations to wear on her wedding day. Not only designing and making her own dress, but that of the bridesmaids too. Meropi who runs her own business, Meropi Couture, is a talented artist, and it is always’s an absolute pleasure working with fellow creatives.

This wedding had it all, from the Greek traditions of walking and dancing to the church to emotive and spontaneous candid moments we love to capture.

One of the many highlights of the reception was the confetti bombs that were set off at various times of the night. I think that Crown River Room would be cleaning confetti for weeks on end.
